Let’s see what they have to say:
Marnie from Noonee Wilga:
I could not find tiny training pants and underwear for my daughter back in 2002 so I began to make them for her. Others requested similar custom-made trainers and underwear, and later nappies, so I began making them for sale.
Rebecca from Bean Sprout Bubba:
I started off telling friends who were going to be mums about cloth nappies, and got a few converted over from disposables that way. I then became a cloth nappy demonstrator for an Aussie retailer and did a few demos here and there. I then started bean Sprout Bubba and took over Bubba J early 2009 and started selling my wares at a monthly craft market. The decision was made also to offer a few more nappy brands that I had used before with great success, and here we are.
Michelle from Cloth ‘n’ Craft:
Through my online site! I listed on a few free advertising sites and it all started from there!
Nyssa from Snow Pea Nappies:
I started making nappies to save myself some money and asked a few friends to test them, with the intention of just making nappies for them as well, the first batch I made attracted so much interest that I started selling them in my local community and then after a few inquiries from friends of friends living further away I launched my face book page and the rest, as they say, is history!
Tamara from Baby Mumma:
I began selling nappies after using cloth for 2 years. It took 6 months of research before launching my business. I believed there was some room for me and my products. I have tried and use all products I sell and I believe in them. I also like to share the cloth nappy lurve
and this is a wonderful outlet to do so!
Misty from Fluffybuns:
With my online store, hoping to open my bricks and mortar store in the near future.
Laura from the Cloth Nappy Co:
After using cloth nappies on my daughter I became passionate about how practical, economical and environmentally friendly cloth nappies are. I can’t believe regular disposables are still allowed to be sold!

I discovered modern cloth nappies through my sister. We were pregnant about the same time.
Much like answers offered by your panel of experts, I am enthusiastic about reusable nappies for their ease-of-use, resilience, adjustable styles, designs and options for absorbent materials. I also have an eco-friendly spirit and know parents appreciate an economical choice. I was amazed at the range of prices of cloth nappies and looked into different manufacturers before starting the Oz Nappies brand label.
