Aim his willy down. The front of the nappy is the wettest area, so ensure your absorbent layers (boosters for pocket nappies) are maximised at the front.

We found with boys bits you need more absorbency in the front, so with our Pikapu nappy we simply put a prefold in at night time and concentrated it more in the front and he was fine. During the day we found that we didn’t really need boosting, the nappy as it was, was fine. It really depends on how they sleep as well, if they are a tummy or back sleeper.
