Lorna’s welcome page tells visitors about her site, then highlights certain key information, such as how many nappies you might expect to use in a day for average age ranges. She then goes over care and use tips and hints and highlights some other key areas of her site. Entrants have said they enjoy having this general guide around a site and it’s resources. Along with her question, she then gives helpful hints about where to find the information to answer it, a friendly gesture.

Hello All,

I’m proud to be part of the 100 Green Promise Nappies Giveaway (Starts 1st June-15th July)

Organic Bugalugs is small home business run by me, a WAHM. I’ve had 3 boys which all wore cloth at different times. Once I discovered Modern Cloth Nappies I was sold! If you have any questions feel free to contact me. As you can see below is a bit of advice about using our nappies. And don’t forget, Organic Bugalugs is now on Facebook. Please join us there to hear about our latest products and sales.

But lets get back to the Giveaway by clicking on the button!

Organic Bugalugs Bamboo Nappies are perfect for your little bugalugs, with all natural lining against their delicate skin. The nappies are made from sustainable bamboo with a breathable waterproof cover for convenience!

Bamboo is known for its hypo-allergic and anti-bacterial properties, as well as being able to wick moisture away from babies skin. Perfect for nappies.

They are extremely absorbent, lasting up to 4 hours. Easily fit to your baby using snap buttons. And fit newborns to three years plus, making them very economical.

Recommended number of nappies will vary depending on baby’s age and frequency! But here’s a rough guide if you are washing each day:

Newborns – 3mths: 12-14 nappies

Up to toddler: 8-10 nappies

Up to 3 yrs: 6-8 nappies

Please remember that its better to have more than required in case of emergencies! There’s nothing worse than being caught short!!

TESTIMONIALS – I love these nappies but hear what others have to say…

To use nappies: Adjust size to fit using snap buttons across the front of the nappy. Fold insert in 3 and stuff in pocket of outer nappy. Fit to baby.

If you need any more advice please contact me. I have had 3 boys (my youngest is still in nappies) so I have lots of experience (not all good) with nappies!

HINTS

Prewash bamboo inserts in hot water to increase absorbency.

Do NOT use fabric softener or barrier creams on bamboo nappies as it decreases absorbency.

For nappy rash use a non-barrier cream or a liner to protect nappy. If cream builds up on nappy decreasing absorbency do several warm washes.

Rinsing after use will help prolong the life of the nappy.

Ensure nappy is dry before putting away especially in humid climates.
